Craig Peterson

Craig Peterson is a native of Manhattan Beach, California. He is a graduate of
California State University, Long Beach obtaining a B.A. degree in English in 1975.
Mr. Peterson began his career with U.S. Steel in 1973 as a sales representative of the company’s Products Division in Los Angeles. In 1982, Mr. Peterson was promoted to the position of Manager of Sales – West Coast, and transferred to the company’s manufacturing facility in Alameda, California.
Following the sale of the Products Division by U.S. Steel, Mr. Peterson joined USS-POSCO Industries in 1986 where he held a variety of sales and marketing positions.
In 1990, Mr. Peterson was appointed Manager of Sales for Tin Mill Products, and in 1994, he was named General Manager of Sales – Sheet Products, the position he held prior to his appointment in 1998 as Vice President – Commercial.
Mr. Peterson is a member of the American Iron and Steel Institute where he currently serves as a member of the Steel Market Development Institute’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Peterson currently resides in San Ramon, California. He has two grown children, Rhett and Suzanne, and four grandchildren, Cole, Reed, Audrey and Davis.
